Mouya has been founded by Minyi Ouyang, a certified Chinese tea specialist. Minyi grew up in and around tea (Guangdong) and decided to start Mouya and Mouyatea end 2009 to fulfil the growing demand of healthy products worldwide and promote the famous history and Chinese tea products online. As there are very little online specialized Chinese tea retail shops and small suppliers, we hope to fill up this gap and push up the level of experiencing Chinese tea around the world.

• Tea is all around us: The Mouya team works and lives in China, tea is around us every day! What we sell we also use ourselves every day.
• No third parties: Our suppliers consist of farmers and small factories. Minyi, who is a native Chinese can deal with the suppliers directly without the need for translators or middlemen. This allows us to get the right tea for the right price and ensures a long lasting good relationship with our suppliers.
• Excellent environmental conditions: We have our own warehouses in Guandong province where we store maturing teas and several other teas that we need to buy seasonal and cannot stay with the farmer. Because of the subtropical climate condition, we have the best natural storage conditions for storing maturing and matured Pu'er tea.
• Lower storage cost: By using our own warehouses in China we also spare the cost on having them overseas, the cost we save is invested into bringing you better quality!
