More Information
Black Tea:
Black tea is called “Hong Cha” in China, which can be directly translated to be “Red Tea”. (That’s why we labeled our black tea variety under red color) Chinese “red tea” is named after color of the infusion. If you hear people talking about red tea in China, they actually mean black tea such as Keemun, Lapsong Souchong, etc., instead of the South African Rooibos.
Black tea is the most popular tea worldwide. It is well fermented, and the flavor is stronger than white tea, yellow tea and green tea. Chinese black tea has comparably mild characteristics; thus, it fits for most people, even the ones with weak health conditions.
