We sell straight from the source.
You will not get tea that has been stored in Europe or the USA for a longer times or has been shipped via freighters and been under sea weather conditions for months. All of MOUYA's teas are sent straight from the farmer to our customers via air carrier, or packed in bulk and stored in our warehouses in Guangdong province.
Our pu'er teas are stored in Guangdong, which has near tropical climate conditions and a very high humidity level all year around. This climate greatly improve the quality / lifetime of your tea. For example: Buying a 10 year old pu'er tea from Mouya will have a very different quality level as buying a one year old pu'er tea from Mouya and storing it in your own garage for 10 years.
We take quality serious
The price of tea is measured in its quality, we don't restrict ourselves to follow existing market prices. We sell different quality teas at the prices we get from the farmers with a profit margin as this is our full-time job, this way the farmer gets the payment he deserves, and you get the right quality tea for the price you pay.
We have a network of Chinese veteran tea lovers and experts and we have been with tea for as long as we can remember.

We focus on bringing you Chinese tea because we live and work in China. China has over 700 different tea variations depending on the plant variation, geographical location, weather conditions and mostly even in how the tea is processed after harvest. So the tea you buy in 2009 will also not taste exactly the same as the same tea you buy just one year later. We rather don't sell products from other regions we are not specialized in so we can keep our focus on letting our customers experience real Chinese tea like we know it, and hopefully provide you with lesser known and harder to get teas from China.
